Lunch Clubs

Lunch clubs serve to enrich students' minds and provide a warm place to spend recess during the winter months.  They also give parents the opportunity to share their knowledge or expertise. It is also a great chance for parents to get involved, and contribute to your child's education.

One of the most crucial advantages of a good school club is that it broadens a child's topic of interest. They are introduced to new subjects that can be both interesting and sometimes challenging. When a child learns a new skill or masters an art, their self esteem increases. It is also a great opportunity for the children to share their interests with other kids and make new friends.

Clubs typically run for 3 or 6 weeks and only require one hour of your time per week starting in January - March.  You do not have to be a "brain surgeon" or an "astronaut" ...creativity, patience and a passion for our school is all that is needed.....

Our lunch clubs are designed to help develop a child's talent or skill. These clubs can be of a recreational or educational nature. They are created to help keep our children active and interested during the winter months.

So if you have a skill, craft or area of expertise and you can spare one hour a week, please consider volunteering.
